Middle-aged flash packers

The last two days have passed very quickly. I always find that when a trip is nearing its end. It’s a conflict between rushing around and making the most of the last moments, and also wanting to chill out before getting back to everyday life.
Actually we’ve managed to do both. We did a big hike up to one of the smaller volcanos, then spent the rest of the day relaxing. Today we went to Arenal volcano national park and then after a leisurely lunch, visited the waterfall that is just up the road from us. I’m just about to hit the wine and watch the birds settle down for the night.
Tomorrow we drive to Poas to see the volcano there and then it’s off to San Jose airport to start the first leg home.
Beginning to look forward to getting home. Missing everyone, missing home cooked food and missing music!
