Driving  day so not much to report.

Headed off about 9.30am after a stop to refuel and buy some lunch for later. The diesel was really cheap (1Euro a litre) and, more importantly, so was the wine! Good old Luxembourg.

A hard drive today. Pretty much rained all day and we had to navigate a bit as we didn’t want to use the Garmin’s chosen path due to roadworks. An added problem was that I was ridiculously tired and kept nodding off all the time. I think it’s part of a bug – Steve and Charlie had it last week.

Eventually arrived in Reiden am Forggensee at 4.30pm. We are very close to Austria and the Alps. Hoping to see King Ludwigs castle tomorrow but I messed up by not booking in advance and apparently the queues are horrendous, so it’s a very early start in the morning. Oops!
