Middle-aged flash packers

The sun came out at last, allowing us to see the Blue Mountains in all their glory.
We did the scenic drive around the main tourist spots and very pretty it was too.
I’m so glad we got a chance to see the mountains at their best.
Our next stop was Wollongong, a large town about an hour’s drive from Sydney. We were meeting our lovely friend Hannah, Kylie’s half sister.
After checking into our apartment (so nice, best hotel so far) we met up with Hannah who immediately took us for a hike up Sublime Point. It was an extremely steep track and Hannah literally ran up there! Knackering but enjoyable.
At the top we were treated to a wonderful view of the Coal Coast and Wollongong.
Starving, we popped back to our hotel for a quick shower and then had the most delicious tacos at a nearby Mexican restaurant.
Tomorrow we spend the day with Hannah then head off for Sydney.
