Gran Canaria – Isle of Dogs

Playa del Aquila

I’ll tell you what happens when a coastal event warning is given – very little. I was imagining a tsunami but got not even a wave.

We had a lovely sunny day interspersed with the odd cloud and a tiny sprinkling of rain to complete our Gran Canarian holiday.

We were quite surprised when we arrived at the airport (20 minutes down the road) to experience  puddles and see people in raincoats. Obviously GC weather is as crazy as ours.

Nothing else to report. The flight was on time with hardly anyone on it, passport control was quick, our bags arrived – all good.

And that’s how I’d describe our Gran Canarian holiday. Good. Much better than expected weather wise and the hiking could definitely tempt us back here.

And no dogs. Not feral ones anyway; maybe a few feral owners but that’s another story.
