Did you know Rudyard Kipling never actually went to Mandalay? So his poem was in fact conjecture even though he does make exceedingly good cakes.

We, on the other hand, are the real deal and will be physically present in Mandalay and many other Burmese places.

Our motley crew of battle scarred road warriors (bit of an exaggeration but middle aged people who travel in reasonable comfort just doesn’t cut it really) are ready and willing to do what it takes to explore and dissect the enigma that is Myanmar.

We will be trekking through villages, braving balloon festivals (where things can go horribly wrong) and travelling along the mighty Irrawaddy. Follow our travels and see the real Myanmar.
